The « In the City » program
Open to all, the In The City program hosted cultural and educational activities from its new Watchmaking Village. The celebration continued on Thursday April 11with an incredible evening party in the city center that won everyone over. Boutiques sold out late into the night, while the Lost Frequencies concert transformed Geneva's quayside into an open-air festival for all to enjoy.
Watchmaking Village
Enthusiasts were able to slip into the shoes of a watchmaker for the duration of a workshop to experience the various stages of disassembly and reassembly and made it so watchmaking no longer holds any secrets for them!
Careers and training
Visitors were able to go behind the scenes of the watchmaking, microtechnology and finishing professions. An opportunity for young people with a passion for precision to find out more about training in this sector.
Children workshops
The Musée International de l'Horlogerie (MIH) in La Chaux-de-Fonds organized workshops for children as part of the In the City program. Parents and children were able to discover these introductory watchmaking workshops.
Guided tours
Thanks to our various guided tours, from the city center of Geneva to the Patek Philippe Museum, people were able to explore Geneva through the prism of Time and watchmaking inventiveness.
Boutique animations
The many activities offered in the boutiques of our exhibiting brands were the perfect opportunity to step through their doors and feel welcomed in a refined environment, and enjoy unforgettable watchmaking experiences.
Evening celebration
A not-to-be-missed highlight of the downtown festivities. The perfect opportunity to enter the world of the brands and enjoy unforgettable watchmaking experiences in their boutiques. The evening was rounded off by the bewitching rhythms of Lost Frequencies on the Quai Général-Guisan.
