Globetrotter

Like a finely crafted atlas, the Globetrotter collection represents our planet. The lands seen on the surface are sculpted to precision and together with the deep, hand-painted seas, they serve as a backdrop to the worldtime display. Overhanging these is an infinite arch which fixes their rotation. With this collection, Arnold & Son pays tribute to John Arnold's marine chronometers, which were embarked on the ships of the Royal Navy, during their explorations on the high seas.

Local times are indicated by red arrows pointing to the markers, while world times can be read off by visualising imaginary longitudes from the jewel in the central bridge to the transparent sapphire crystal 24-hour ring.

The Globetrotter collection is assembled on the Maison's automatic calibre A&S6022 and like all Arnold & Son movements, it has been entirely developed, produced, decorated, assembled, adjusted and fitted at the brand’s Manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
